I purchased this car from the family who bought the car new. I
have the original bill of sale and other papers from the dealership
when purchased in 1954. I also have the original license plates
that have been on the car. As you can see from the pictures the car
is in excellent original condition for the year. The car has never
been smoked in and has always been garaged. The car has a
powerglide automatic transmission and runs and drives excellent.
There is a folding picnic table in the trunk that the family used
when traveling for roadside picnics that will go with the car.
I’ve only driven the car a couple of hundred miles. I changed the
oil and filter. The radio doesn’t work. The tubes light up, but no
sound. I’m sure there will be other minor issues based on the year
of the car and its originality, but the car is in awesome
condition.
