For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Chevrolet pickup truck. This one is ready for the cruise inns and shows. Powering the truck is a mild 327 small block Chevy backed up by a TH-350 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.73 gears. The engine features an aluminum intake manifold, aluminum M/T valve covers, tubular headers and a Holley four barrel carburetor. This truck has a very unique look to it. The build was competed many moons ago but it still looks great. It appears to have a shortened bed, fitted with Ford Maverick taillights, Mustang II style front end with rack and pinion steering, upper with lower control arms and power brakes. A wood bed with a diamond plated tailgate and an exposed tubular fuel tank add to the unique look. Painted in an eye catching yellow with black fenders makes this little pickup stand out from the crowd. The lowered stance, short bumpers and dual exhaust give this truck a look that it's ready for anything. Inside the truck are cloth bucket seats, an AM/FM radio with CD and a tilt wheel. If you're ready to show off a truly one of a kind '36 Chevy truck, this is it! For more information, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom.
