This car is in wonderful condition. I have been beneath the dash, under the hood, on my back beneath the car and in the trunk. It had to have been in fantastic condition before it was transformed. It was built as a 6 cylinder/ three speed car. it left the factory in Ermine White with Red cloth/vinyl interior. It had factory installed seat belts. Pretty much how it is today. It wears a 1964 Kansas license plate.
Is that where it spent its early life? It came to me from a car buddy in New Jersey. no matter where it lived, it did not get rusted. I believe the paint to be a brighter white. Perhaps Alpine White? It is pretty brilliant. The interior looks to be very close to the factory upholstery. A set of aftermarket gauges, an aftermarket stereo and a tachometer have altered the stock appearance.
Under the hood, there is not much that is stock. The engine is a high performance 454. We believe it to have rectangular port heads. It has MSD ignition, Hedman Headers, 3 inch exhaust with Flowmasters and dumps, solid lifters and Edelbrock Carburetor. The dual master cylinder pumps front disc brakes. The clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing are new. All housed within a blow-proof bell housing. This connects to a 1967 Muncie four speed which is shifted by a Hurst shifter. The one-piece driveshaft spins within a safety loop.
The frame was modified and reinforced. very professional. The rear end is a Ford nine inch with 3.70 posi gears. the wheels are eight inch with 255/70/15 radials and small hubcaps. The fronts are 215/75/15 on six inch wheels. The suspension is coil springs contain Air-Lift bags wit independent shrader valves for track performance.
This was a very nice, solid, well-cared fro car that has been heavily modified for strong, performance on the street or at the strip. It has been restored from the bottom to top. Cosmetically it is quite appealing and shows just a few minimal flaws where chips were touched up. This car is ready for your enjoyment. All you need is gas in the tank and a smile on your face!
