The mileage showing on the odometer is documented actual mileage. This Fairlane 500 left the factory in Dearborn Michigan in early May of '63 finished in Corinthian White with a 260 cubic inch V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Since then it was driven minimally over the years and received a partial restoration a few years ago. During the partial restoration the car received a new paint job, new wheels, and a new engine.
The interior has been left largely untouched bar a few after market gauges and is in excellent shape for its age. All upholstery looks great, dash trim and dash pad are in excellent condition, headliner looks new, and all switches, knobs and handles work.
The new engine is a 347 cubic inch Ford Racing engine that offers 450+ horsepower and is actually just fine for daily street driving. If you put your Leadfoot to the floor, hang on for the ride as the engine tries to put all its power to the pavement! This Fairlane is definitely a sleeper.
The paint is beautiful and pairs well with the excellent chrome and trim found throughout this car. Body panels line up perfect, doors, trunk and hood close with ease, and all glass is free of scratches or blemishes. The Edelbrock wheels have a classic Halibrand look and do not detract from the simplicity of the car.
