You're meeting this 1977 Chevrolet Camaro at its crossroads. This exceptionally clean, V8 coupe is a great driver at an unbeatable classic car price. But it's also at such a value that you might just want this as the base for your next big build.
There is a sweet spot in second generation Camaros, where the updated styling still carried some nice brightwork. All of this looks particularly good thanks to the 70s-spec Buckskin exterior color being changed over to a modern glossy black with clearcoat. Now all the bright elements like the headlight surrounds, shovel-spade front bumper, window trim, taillight surrounds, and wide rear bumper are standouts that truly highlight some of the best styling features of the car. This one looks comes complete with nice factory features like dual sport outside mirrors, Hide-Away windshield wipers, and Rally wheels.
The tan vinyl interior complements the black exterior in a very luxurious way. The high-back buckets have been recovered recently in a new more modern/deeper brown. It's a complete package with the rear seats covered to match, so it looks absolutely terrific. These Camaros have an especially well engineered center console that frames the automatic transmission nicely on its way to linking with the dashboard. Overall, it just feels like this Camaro had one of the best designed interiors of the 1970s. It only gets better with this one because every touchable surface from the door panels to the dash have remained crisp and sharp. The driver-oriented gauge package feels a bit like a time machine with the original Camaro soft grip sports steering wheel, factory gauges, and all the original controls. But this one was also upgraded in the right places, including the AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD changer in the trunk and provisions for modern R134a air conditioning.
Under the hood is 305 cubic-inch V8 engine. It has been dressed nicely with Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner, but more importantly, it shows all signs of good maintenance, including firing up easily and idling smoothly. This is a great powerplant with the kind or torque to move this coupe nicely and give you a taste of the rumble that makes the Chevy small-block motor a legend. This Camaro comes with power steering, power brakes (discs in the front), and a three-speed automatic transmission. So it's the perfect coupe to drive all around town and look like a million bucks for a fraction of the cost.
Complete with owner's manual, you already know the value of a coupe like this. It's perfect to drive and enjoy today. In the future, if you feel like upgrading, this one has all the solid factory components and affordable performance parts to make for an outstanding foundation. It's the car you love today and plan for tomorrow. Heck, with this affordable price, you're imagination must already be going wild! But you're not the only one who is thinking about this very affordable Camaro's future. Call today!!!
