For Sale: I have for sale a 1970 Chevelle Super Sport, Not a Clone
I tried to do what most guys are thinking of doing and that is rebuilding a project car.
If I had to do over again I feel it is better to buy a car that is done and ready for the road instead of working on a car for over a year.
Just put the gas in and drive away. Look into the cost of parts and you will be surprised.
The places I bought most of my material from was Grounds up and Eckler. All the parts I replaced are new not refurbished
There are many parts replaced within my car and everything in the car is
functional. The old original parts do come with the car. Only qualified
mechanics have worked on the car. This vehicle is as close to a ground up
restoration as it gets. This car has always been garage kept. This is not a
matching number car but everything about the car is correct for that year
except the radio. You will receive the original AM radio. I replaced the
clock as well as a new 1970 Chevelle tack in the dash. You will receive the original clock. I have all most $60,000.00 invested in the car. Right after the car
was ready for the road, I got hurt. Due to Health reasons, I cannot drive
the car. In 2015 I put about 125 miles on the car.
The vehicle has a 396/402 engine I believe the engine is a L34 with 350 HP, Cowl Induction, PB, PS, Air Shocks, 4 speed close ratio rock crusher Transmission along with a Hurst shifter. New Eaton Posie Rear End with new Richmond 3.08 gears for cruising not racing, Pioneer Stereo 50 watt w/cd and remote control. A Holly 4 Barrel carb, The Street Avenger Carb 670 CFM with electric choke. A new Zoom Clutch, Throw out Bearing, Pressure Plate, new timing gear, timing chain, Tilt Wheel, Flow Master exhaust. Gauges under dash for battery, oil and water temperature. The engine has been rebuilt along with the transmission. New O ring and bushing in transmission tail piece.
New yoke's on both ends of the drive shaft and new universal joints on both ends of the drive shaft.
New interior door panels along with new panels for the back seat. New wiper arms and blades,
New wiper motor and sprayers. New courtesy floor lights on both sides of car.
New windshield with built in radio antenna.
I also installed a new engine wire harness, and dashboard harness, new mother circuit board for the dashboard and New fuse box.
Replaced all window roll up mechanisms.
Put in new radiator support and headlight adjustment screws.
The car has Black buckets seats along with black interior with a black vinyl
roof. The car is Dark Phantom Blue with white stripes.
The car is as straight as an arrow and has current alignment and Pa
inspection sticker. The car runs great and the engine is very strong. The
car will run on regular pump gas.
There are some minor road chips on the car from stones and a few small
scratches, there is a very small dent in the front hood.

Do your homework on restoring a car and talk to the guys that have done it, it is not a walk in the park. I found it was a lot of headaches and frustration.
This Chevelle is a real head turner, the car looks great and runs great.
