We have NEVER seen one that wasn't " restored" or : re-pained OR a bunch of other "RE'S .......... a REAL DEAL and BAD ASS 69 Cobra ( to become the Torino body style one year later ) that will sell for WAAAYYYY UNDER market value and what they are LISTED FOR ... NO -- she is NOT GONNA" COST 'YA a Hundred Thousand DOLLARS !! FAAARRR FROM THAT !!! Don't snooze if you are a Collector, a FORD GUY or just know a GREAT INVESTMENT when 'ya see it .... ;-) Take a look at the BODY LINES on the car .... all the alignments are STILL AS BUILT AT THE FACTORY !!! The FACTORY MEADOWLARK YELLOW paint still presents as it did in the SHOWROOM !!! The interior is UNBELIEVABLE !! It looks as if a butt has NEVER HIT THE SEAT !!! The FACTORY ORIGINAL CHROME is absolutely BEAUTIFUL ...... as is ALL the appointments indigenous to the OH SO RARE " COBRA CJ" Option ......... ALL components are MATCHING NUMBERS ... the drive train or the ENTIRE CAR for that matter-- (except for a few motor mods ) Is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL !!!! You can still see the FACTORY PAINT MARKS on the chassis components !!! The automobile was kept in HEATED storage for over TWENTY YEARS and when she saw the light of day again she FIRST had her powerplant removed and taken to a professional performance engine builder to make sure the engine wasn't harmed by trying to start it after such a long hibernation ... so ..... the ORIGINAL OWNER had a little " EVEN BETTER performance" work done while she was on the operating tale ...... SUCH AS ...... bored .030 with TRW forged pistons and compression was kept at about 10:1 for today's gas ... heads were CC'd with ports cleaned up for better flow, polished intake valves and sodium exhaust valves were installed with a 3 angle valve job and chrome molly rocker shafts from pro stock engines, a 7 quart oil pan and a high volume oil pump was added and oil restrictors also to keep the lower end bathed in oil as would be a GOOD IDEA on all CENTER OILER Ford big blocks....., a 427 Hydraulic camshaft was installed at the time and she BARKS NOW !!! The SOUND is just short of AMAZING !!! Let alone the POWER CREATED to a powerplant that was VERY STRONG TO START WITH !!!!! If you DRIVE this SWEETHEART and you are not familiar with a REAL MUSCLE CAR you had better take A FEW LESSONS with something a bit LESS POWERFUL FIRST !!! WE have JUST RECEIVED the MARTI REPORT on this fine automobile and it sates----- The car is one of FIFTEEN as built ... NOW WE ARE GETTING VERY RARE !!! And we'll bet the ONLY --- ORIGINAL OWNER,ORIGINAL PAINT,ORIGINAL INTERIOR, ORIGINAL ETC,ETC, ETC, CAR !!!!!! These are out there..... and they are PRICEY !!! But ....... VERY FEW ........ NOW ... try and find ANOTHER LIKE THIS ONE !!!! CAN YOU SAY " INVESTMENT QUALITY" ??? Or ONE HELL of a ride for ANY show or cruise ...... There WILL NOT BE ANOTHER LIKE THIS ONE THERE -- We have found NONE as ORIGINALLY FACTORY BUILT - NO RE-PAINT , NO resto, etc ..... put on yer lobster bib and and take a look at her pics.... and ... ... the pics PLAIN DO NOT DO THIS CAR JUSTICE !!!
