1969 International Harvester Travelall 1000 in Volo, Illinois
This international 1000d wagon is a true one owner survivor. It is original front to back with the exception of one repaint. The rust free body looks new. The doors open and close like the day it was built. With only104,678 original miles this wagon is just getting started. The interior is original with a few flaws and a bit of patina. The travelall wagon model was originally designed to be a family/handyman utility vehicle. With the back seat folded down, it has enough cargo space to accommodate 4x8 foot sheets of plywood/drywall with room to spare. With it's four speed with overdrive transmission, this truck can pull almost anything. The international comes with it's original owners manual, original one owner title and a copy of the factory build sheet. The travelall recently came out of long term storage. It received a complete service and safety inspection, including but not limited to: new fuel pump, carburetor rebuild, 4 new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, brake lines, new battery, grease, oil and filter etc. These trucks were sold as utility vehicles. They were driven to death and very few have survived. This is an excellent example. This work horse looks, runs and drives great. It can take the whole family to the next car show.
