1925 Ford Model TT Express Tow Truck (Texaco) in Volo, Illinois
This wrecker was built on a 1 ton model TT frame with heavy duty rear axle and 3 speed transmission. It was fitted with the desirable Manley Tow Crane and Winch. The Ford express body is all steel; first year for that production. Completely restored to a Texaco Wrecker with all new Texaco red paint and black reveals - base coat clear coat. This was restored from a very low mileage truck; which has the original factory seat back. The rear axle of the TT had a worm drive and crown wheel. AACA winner in Eastern division.
