We are offering a very rare 1989 Porsche Speedster. It’s unique look and very low production numbers combine to make it one of the most collectible, modern era Porsches. VIN number is WP0ZZZ91ZK5152564 and miles are 9,776. This is one of only 2,037 Speedsters produced. Better yet it is one of only 38 Swiss cars that were ordered with factory equipped turbo tail option. The car is excellent with all original paint with no signs of body damage or repairs. Any paint flaws are minor and if desired the front bumper could be refinished to take care of most all of them. We decided to do no touch up or refinish to allow the new owner the option to decide needs. The interior is all original and in excellent condition, including supple leather seat option. This car is a Euro model that was sold new in Switzerland and imported to the US in mid 2000’s. This Speedster has full EPA paperwork and is able to be registered in California as it has a CARB legal sticker on underside of rear deck lid. Being a Swiss car it is equipped with the smaller over riders and attractive Euro side markers on front fenders. The car is in excellent condition and has just been serviced in our shop. We replaced the lower valve cover gaskets with factory parts to stop the only small oil leakage we found. The car is fitted with brand new, proper sized Michelin tires on unmarked Fuchs wheels. The cloth top is original cloth, and is in good condition with only minor storage wrinkles that would probably come out with gentle heat from a hairdryer. All dash and interior are as they left the factory. The underside of the car, including front valance, shows no signs of being abused or bottomed. It has only the normal road grime of low miles. We did not super clean it and it retains the copious amounts of the factory applied cosmoline on most all the suspension and gearbox engine assembly. Please look at pictures of the underside and do not mistake this coloration variations for dirt or fluid leakage. If one would like it super detailed and all signs of factory protective shipping coatings cleaned off it would be as bright and clean as new parts, but that is not how these left the factory. The engine is very quiet, and has excellent torque and power. It starts and performs properly at all temperatures and this being a Euro model, has the sound absorbing engine cover fitted still. The gearbox is dry, clutch operates smoothly, and shifts as it should. Brakes and steering are as a Porsche should feel. The original option sticker is in place on underside of front hood and shows all equipment the car was built with. The only non stock item we know of is the radio, which could be easily returned to stock appearance. The tool kit is in place mostly complete minus screwdrivers, the Euro model air compressor is in the trunk along with original spare, jack and lug wrench. If you desire a Speedster this would be an excellent choice and is offered at a very good price compared to market. Feel free to call Bob at 541-543-6791 cell, 541-342-1520 to discuss or purchase this car.
