The "Cranberry Red (code 75)" paint shows a very good shine and is free from any major deficiencies. The paint is accented with black "SS" style stripes.

The factory tinted glazed components are properly installed and damage free.
Chrome Condition:
This '70 Chevelle is equipped with chrome front and rear bumpers. These components as well as numerous other chrome and stainless steel items are free from wear or damage. All of these components add to this automobile's great looks. The rear bumper is equipped with the "Chevelle SS" bumper pad. The "Chevelle SS • name plaques that are equipped on this automobile are properly installed and show well. The 454 plaques to match the installed engine have replaced the original 396 front fender emblems.
Wheel and Tire Condition:
Four P225 60R15 BF Goodrich radial T A tires are mounted on period correct rallye wheels. The wheels are new "Wheel Vintiques" reproduction components. They are equipped with trim rings, "SS" center caps and chrome wheel nuts. All of these components show very well and are free from excessive wear.
Interior Condition:
The "code 788" red interior includes bucket seats and a center console that houses the gearshift assembly and a secondary glove compartment. Despite some very minor carpet soiling on the driver's side and some weathering present on the left door panel, the interior shows very well and is free from any significant wear. The padded dash is properly affixed and free from cracks, splits and weathering. The factory appearing black instrument panel that houses the "round gauges' (helps indicate the "SS" option) is in good presentable condition. The aluminium three spoke "Comfort Grip" steering wheel is free from excessive wear. The attached vehicle trim tag states that the vehicle is equipped with the proper interior options.

This 1970 Chevelle is equipped with a 396 (402 CID) (code CT) big block Chevrolet engine with a four-speed transmission. The engine was roughly 500 miles since rebuilt. The
block was manufactured in Tonawanda, New York and is "code CTX" which stipulates 396/350 hp, four-speed transmission and a heavy-duty clutch. The vehicle's identification numbers are stamped and are visible on the supplied engine block.
