Exterior:
This 442 is one sexy car, all the lines are straight and there is no Rust! Front and rear bumpers are newly re-chromed, New front grille, New headlight assemblies and taillight bezels and lenses.The exhaust tips are properly located and look very aggressive, and all the panels look to line up very well. All emblems are in great shape. The paint shows very well and I would rate it a 7.5 out of 10. It is not a concourse car but it looks very good. It was painted over 1 year ago with the correct factory Saffron paint code. You will get nothing but complements when it is on the road. If you do not like attention this car is not for you.
Drivetrain:
Powered by a healthy numbers matching 400 ci, 350 hp power plant that is fed by the factory Rochester 4 barrel carb, it has plenty of pep. The power is put down by a TH400 transmission, this is one of the stouter ones produced and used in Larger vehicles, they even used this transmission in the Military Humvee! This 4-4-2 has power steering and power brakes. We went through this whole car, all new filters, belts, hoses, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and fuel pump. Anything that was excessively worn was replaced. Tires are new all around. (BF goodrich) We adjusted the idle and jets so it would run nice and smooth. It does not overheat even in the Florida heat. The motor is cold natured and needs to be warmed up for around 45 seconds prior
to engaging in enjoyable activities.
