This DEMON 340 V8, 4 speed, 3.91 axle ratio sure grip muscle
resto-mod is a blast to drive and is a 100% functional and a well
balanced combo of straight line performance and road ability. I has
gobs of low end torque from the hit of the throttle and you can
power shift all day without missing gears with the upgraded Hurst
and McLeod components (see details below). Eat up corners also with
disc front brakes, a front sway bar & 15" M&H radials on all
four corners. Upgrades and maintenance recently done: Front
suspension lower control arm & strut bushings all replaced with OE
spec rubber for quiet operation & added welding to K-member near
the steering gear & lower control arm tube. Speedo rebuilt for
improved accuracy and quietness, & new MOPAR battery installed.
Track tested @ US 131 Drag strip 4-23-2016 ET 13.5 @ 103 mph on
pump gas and no pinion snubber. Driven to the track and back from
Holland, MI 70 miles round trip. Odometer reads 90,000 miles. Title
reads "actual miles unknown". l. Engine: 340 4bbl Engine block cast
01-15-1973 #2780930. bored.030" over hypereutectic pistons, melling
MC1735 cam. Forged crank .020" under. AVS 4bbl 625 CFM carter carb
#4740S from a 440 V8, K&N filter with Moroso base and foam seal
to hood. Cast Iron Intake cast#3462838 modified to accept larger
primaries of the 440 AVS 340 X cylinder heads cast #2581894 date
coded 08-22-1969 2015 updated version Rev-N-Nator ignition &
matched coil with Chrysler distributor. Features built in soft
touch rev limiter and LED tach on box. Exhaust TTI 1 5/8" nickel
chrome plated step headers & 2.5" X-pipe without chrome tips,
Dynomax mufflers. ll. Drive Train: A833 date code 1-22-1969 4 speed
Pistol grip lever with Hurst comp plus positive stop mechanism with
dash reverse indicator. 10.95" McLeod diaphragm clutch with a new
bell crank & throw-out bearings. Drive shaft small u-joint custom
length & balanced with drive shaft loop. Welded in sub frame
connectors. 8 �" rear axle #742 case 3.91: 1 ratio with clutch
style sure grip, Moser axels, and new bearings & seals '73 K member
/front suspension with disc brakes, sway bar & donut style
Schumacher engine mounts. Wheels 15" X 7" "police syle", dodge
division dog dish caps, & set of 4 new M&H drag radial tires
size 26/8.5 15" front & 235/60 15" rear. New 22" radiator with
AMSoil coolant and dominator coolant boost, fan shroud and MOPAR 5
blade viscous fan package. lll. Interior: Black bucket seats with
belts for 5 passengers. No shoulder harnesses due to missing male
retractors. Grant Steering wheel "Tuff Wheel" look alike. Auto
meter vintage tach with MOPAR oil pressure gauge IV. Body paint,
including under hood, trunk, & undercarriage via rotisserie in PPG
code 17039 Evening Blue urethane basecoat clear coat. Custom made
fiberglass Hood -Six pack style & bumpers (no bumper jack
provisions) Hood is braced and includes hood pins, secondary &
primary latches, and both radiator and cowl rubber seals. 15" X
6.5" Rally wheel Michelin spare tire Jack, Base, and handle. Fire
extinguisher mounted in trunk New windshield and driver's door
glass. Build sheet available. Car was originally a white slant six
green interior 3 speed on the column. New quarters, trunk
extensions, & drivers rear floor with a full photo archive of the
body work. The under carriage is all on rotisserie painted blue.
The only black under coating sound deadener is in the 4 wheel
wells. The six pak style scoop hood is fiberglass & functional .
Bumpers are fiberglass and painted to match body color. The steel
hood & bumpers for the car are available but need paint and
chroming. This vehicle comes with a new set of tires. No dings are
visible on this vehicle. The paint is in great shape and condition.
The front windshield is in excellent condition. The interior was
well maintained and is extra clean. The exterior & undercarriage
