I has gobs of low end torque from the hit of the throttle and you can power shift all day without missing gears with the upgraded Hurst and McLeod components (see details below). Eat up corners also with disc front brakes, a front sway bar & 15" M&H radials on all four corners. Upgrades and maintenance recently done: Front suspension lower control arm & strut bushings all replaced with OE spec rubber for quiet operation & added welding to K-member near the steering gear & lower control arm tube.
