This is a Beautiful Original 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Breezeway 2-Door Hardtop that is almost completely ORIGINAL and only has 22,944 ACTUAL ORIGINAL MILES since brand new !! You can now own a BEAUTIFUL Luxury/ Muscle car that is getting hard to find especially in this kind of BEAUTIFUL original condition! We just purchased this BEAUTY just like it is and found out why it only had 22K original miles. When we got it the exhaust manifold had a crack in it and when we fixed it we found out it was masking a rod knock. Bummer. So we sent it out to Motorworks in WA state and had it completely rebuilt and it has about 250 miles on the new motor. When they heard the rod they must have just put it away in the barn, so at least the body and interior in in awesome shape. The 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Breezeway 2-Door Hardtop was a stunning body style in 1963 and still is some 53 years later !! You may NOT find another one this NICE !! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This car is NICE and is a DRY - SOLID – California car sold new, less than 20 miles from where we bought it! This BEAUTY the STRONG, REBUILT, ORIGINAL "Z" code 390 CID 300 HP V8 Motor in it and running extremely well. The engine is backed by a smooth three speed “Dual Range” Automatic Transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL (ALL ORIGINAL !!) code "50" matching Rose Interior is in nearly PERFECT condition with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL front bucket seats with center console, VERY NICE ORIGINAL rear bench seat, working factory rear “Breezeway” power window that goes up and down perfectly, VERY NICE ORIGINAL sun visors, Nice ORIGINAL steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL door panels with correct ORIGINAL chrome trim, ORIGINAL style carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster (ALL WORKING), VERY NICE ORIGINAL dash and original dash pad which had a couple of cracks that were repaired. In my opinion this is as nice of an ORIGINAL interior as your going to find on a 53 year old car, What a find. The code "W" Rose Metallic exterior paint is BEAUTIFUL showing only a few very small imperfections but is bright and shiny and looks GREAT as you can see in the picture above and the 99 ADDITIONAL PICTURES. The ORIGINAL code "50" matching Rose Interior and the matching ORIGINAL code "W" Rose Metallic exterior with the white top is a GREAT color combination is maybe one of the most sought after! How could you get any better! This Car is a great runner and a real nice looker and is nicely equipped including factory heater and de-froster, power steering, power rear window, Illuminated Entry system, chrome remote exterior mirror, power brakes, original front and rear seat belts, original Mercury Am radio, 2-speed wipers, nice clean trunk. The interior of this car is BEAUTIFUL and EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS except the clock and radio. This 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Breezeway 2-Door Hardtop has great looks and Monster power! I drove this car for a couple of weeks as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it drove flawlessly !! It doesn't have a squeak, or rattle and rides as smooth as my new DeVille. All the exterior lenses are in nice condition with no cracks or fading. This is a nice almost completely ORIGINAL car !!! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this shinning example of a pampered, original 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Breezeway 2-Door Hardtop. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. The car also sports Nice original Mercury stainless steel wheel covers and nearly new whitewall premium touring steel belted radial tires. This vintage luxury car is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a great example of a sought after and hard to find collector car, which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 Breezeway 2-Door Hardtop worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! The original chrome and stainless and original front and rear chrome bumpers are all in good shape and shine like new with the exception of the hood spear and the 2 trim pieces on the side of the roof, which have pitting. The bumpers are also in nice shape, one small dime sized ding in rear bumper. The original Headlight surrounds Chrome and grill are in beautiful original condition. Again in my opinion your not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL chrome and stainless than what is on this car !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL !! The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression as you would expect with a pampered, ORIGINAL 22,944 mile car. I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this car has lived in California its whole life and it shows. Again in my opinion you can't get much nicer original floors and trunk !!
