stunning 1973 Volvo P1800E. Volvo owners are some of the most
meticulous and caring car owners in the world and this mildly
restored example shows it! These 1800's are currently one of the
hottest cars on the classic car market today and this is a must
have example! This vehicle is an exceptional model year with a
unique combination of features that were first made available on
the 1800 series in 1970. For example, the "E" designation which
first appeared in 1970 is for production models with BOSCH fuel
injection systems. The German term for fuel injection is
"einspritzen", hence the "E" designation. Only 4,750 vehicles were
produced during this year. With the first run of production by
Jensen in England and the final run of production produced in
Sweden. Finished in a brilliant Bright Red this coupe shows
extremely well The front and rear chrome bumpers and bumper strips
fit well and finish is exquisite. The front grill is in very good
condition. All trim pieces are present and have a great finish. The
headlights and taillights are in very condition with no hazing or
cracks. This Volvo has an attractive distinctive tail pipe design
completing the distinctive European design of the early seventies.
Inside, this Volvo features a Tan front bucket and rear seats that
look great. The tan door panels, carpet and dashboard are a
continuation of the striking interior of this sedan and look
fantastic. The headliner completes the rest of the interior and is
in very good condition. The weather-stripping is excellent, with
little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. All the
original equipment gauges are well placed, have correct appearance
as originally design. The original Volvo AM/FM radio and Grant
wooden designed three spoke steering wheel are in very good
condition. This beautiful 1800E is nicely equipped with a 130 hp
�2.0L B20E inline 4 cylinder engine fed by a Bosch D-jetronic fuel
injection. Power is transferred to the wheels by a M41 four speed
manual transmission with a Laycock overdrive. Drivers assist
features include four wheel disc brakes. The 15-inch original Volvo
5 spoke with sport radial tires. Included is a $2200 service
receipt at 12,610 miles for engine work that included new fuel
pressure regulator, fuel lines, etc. Overall this Volvo is an
excellent testament to classic styling, build quality and diligent
ownership, it would be a challenge to find a comparable model in
