This vehicle was delivered new to my father on Dec 28, 1976, according to the warranty registration document, and subsequently was acquired by me from my father’s estate in July, 2006, with 39,000 miles on it, and it has been owned and recreationally driven by myself during summer months since that time. It currently has under 45,000 miles on the odometer, and has been continuously registered and insured in Alberta, Canada for the last 10 years, and prior to that, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
This is a somewhat unusual vehicle in that it has a 403 CID engine and a “tee-bar” roof, which was not common for this year of Olds.
The pristine condition, low original mileage, original accessories, and “one-ownership” make this truly a one-of-a-kind vehicle. It is completely roadworthy, with all vehicle systems operative.
During my ownership of this vehicle, the following documented parts purchases and maintenance have been accomplished:
July 20/06 Radiator Replaced with New, and Hoses Replaced with New
Rear Brake Shoes Replaced with New
Front and Rear Shocks Replaced with New
July 22/06 4 Tires Replaced with New, White Sidewall
July 31/06 Windshield Washer Pump Replaced with New
Aug 2/06 Out of Province Vehicle Inspection (Alberta) (Odo 39633 Miles)
Aug 8/06 Distributor Rotor/Cap/Module/Pole Plt Replaced with New
Aug 15/06 Ignition Condenser/Coil/Spark Plugs and Fuel Pump Replaced with New
July 14/07 Radiator Fan Thermostatic Clutch Replaced with New
June 19/08 Air Conditioning Compressor, Dryer, Expansion Tube, High Pres Switch Replaced with New, AC System converted to R134A Refrigerant
This vehicle is being sold FOB Calgary, Alberta, however, for a USA purchaser, I will deliver the vehicle to an Alberta/Montana border-crossing location. However, I have to sell it as a Canadian vehicle, and a USA purchaser would have to purchase it in Canada and then import it in to the USA. Because the vehicle is older than 25 years, it is considered an “antique” vehicle, and as such, my understanding is that no modifications would be required to import and register this vehicle in the USA. The speedometer does have both MPH and KPH scales.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thank-you for your interest.
