Vehicle Description
I was the crown jewel of Chrysler back in the day. They did not build a better car and the mighty Cadillac trembled when I drove past. I was fully loaded for my time. I have power steering, power windows, power brakes and power seats all of which still work. I have a push button automatic transmission as people who bought me in the day were fancy lads and reaching for a lever would be far too inconvenient. My body styling is not for the faint of heart but boy do I look good. I turn heads wherever I go and I still remember when I was young some of the more religious zealots called me the devil car with my large swooping rear fins. Get me on the freeway and I have no top speed. I just keep going and going, floating effortlessly with my big block 413 engine and double barrel carburetor. My current owner inherited me from his grandfather over 20 years ago. Since then my engine has been completely rebuilt in 1994 with another major tune up in 2006. I also got my transmission rebuilt in 2006. My dashboard electronics were also rebuilt a few years ago and the truth is everything of mine works right down to my transistor AM radio. I also still have my original owners manual as well as my service manual and a couple of shop manuals. I even have a few extra parts that have been collected over the years. My current owners grandfather bought me when I was one year old and I have been garage stored since then (for 55 years!). Since my current owner has had me I have not seen one drop of rain nor one bit of snow. I have only been driven in the summer time for short trips and have probably averaged 200 miles per year since 1994. I only have 71908 original miles on my odometer.
It is time for the next chapter in my life. Although I am not showing my age and I look absolutely amazing it is time for a facelift. It is time to pull my body parts off and give me a good scrubbing down to my bare parts. I do not have a lot of rust but I do have some. I could also use a little work on my interior. If you do a little work on me I could easily look like I did back in 1961 when I rolled off the assembly line with my other 900 or so brothers. My current owner is regretfully selling me as he lives overseas and he can no longer store me as his grandfathers’ daughter is downsizing. As I am royalty they can’t bear for me to be treated like a common car so they are looking for my new home.
All this AND I am priced to sell.
Please, serious buyers only. Price listed is in Canadian dollars.
