1948 Chrysler Town and Country Woody Convertible with beautiful Newport Blue exterior and Bedford Cord blue leather interior. Show room mint triple plated chrome everywhere. Please note I have removed several trim rings and hub caps to show the wheel paint. I have all wheel trim rings and hub caps for the car as you will see in another photo listed. High grade showroom original ash and mahogany wood fully refinished professionally restored to perfection. Beautiful show room correct Newport blue exterior paint, new blue cloth convertible top, all new interior and carpets, complete. Brand new front coil springs with brand new rear leaf springs, all new shocks. This car sits nice and high like new with its all new suspension as seen in the photos. All new master cylinder and complete brakes, Inline 8 cylinder engine, 135 HP Spitfire 323.5 cid, #’s matching from day one 1948. 127.5 inch wheel base independent suspension. This car runs like a Swiss watch and drives down the road like a new car with no rattles or noise, nice and quiet with the top up or down. The top pistons are all new and the top operates to perfection nice and quiet. I photographed the car running so you can see all gauges working. I also photographed the gauges with the car shut off. A recent beautiful restoration on this virgin original old Chrysler. This car has all its original body from day one 1948. Original 1948 floors, body mounts, fenders, trunk pan, rocker panels, with no nasty metal welded in like so many other restorations you see on these old Woodys.
