This car has been cared for by a loving owner who had this car certified by the British Motor Heritage Club to prove it's  authenticity. The fixed-roof MGB GT was introduced in October 1965. Production continued until 1980, though export to the US ceased in 1974. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking greenhouse designed by Pininfarina and launched the sporty "hatchback" style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the B GT offered the utility of a station wagon while retaining the style and shape of a coupe This rare and hard to find coupe is finished in the iconic British Racing Green that shows extremely well. The front and rear chrome bumpers with over riders fit well and are exquisite. The front grill is in very good condition and looks great. The headlights are period correct and taillights are in very condition with no hazing or cracks. All trim pieces are present and have a great finish. Inside this GT,  the black vinyl seats with Ivory piping look great and are in fantastic condition. The matching black door panels and black carpet with beautiful black padded dashboard are a continuation of the striking interior and looks fantastic. The weather-stripping is excellent, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. All the original equipment gauges are well placed, have correct appearance and function as originally designed. The thin Moto-Lita wooden sport steering wheel and Tadiran AM/FM radio are in good condition. This '68 MGB GT is nicely equipped with a 95hp 1.8L inline 4 cylinder engine fed by a dual SU carburetors. Power is transferred to the wheels by a 4-speed manual transmission. Drivers assist features include rack & pinion steering, front disc with rear drum brakes. Independent front suspension, coil springs lever shocks and a live axle, leaf spring with lever shock rear suspension. Equipped with 14-inch chrome wire wheels with octagonal knock off center hubs wrapped in Michelin whitewall tires.
