This much sought after new model Morgan Three Wheeler, individually built by hand at the Morgan Factory in Malvern, England, is finished in British Racing Green with hand stitched tan leather interior. The design was originally inspired by the cockpit environment of a WWI biplane fighter of the Royal Flying Corps and the cockpit of the M3W reflects this with aircraft style instruments and a 'bomb release' starter push button. These vehicles are registered as motorcycles in the U.S. It takes months to order one of these from the factory in the U.K., and they start at a base ex-factory price of about $42,000 before adding the cost of any options, shipping, import duties and local dealer mark up and delivery fees. One fully optioned M3W reviewed by Car & Driver even reached $73,396, and that was a 2013 model! The M3W provides a driving experience like no other vehicle on the road as well as being an instant attraction every where you drive it, to everyone within its view, on the road or on the sidewalk or in the parking lot. On YouTube you can see them being made at the Morgan factory, and being driven in a variety of situations. This M3W has the all the really necessary options, such as the full windshield, narrow center console (gives extra room inside the cockpit), heated seats, full split tonneau cover, wood rimmed steering wheel (standard wheel included), two eared knock off hubs (standard hex knock offs included), chromed luggage rack, StarCom1 intercom, one indoor and one outdoor cover. Many more options are available. The V twin S&S motor produces massive torque and runs the MOG up to 115 mph, although at 80 mph it feels like 180! 0-60 in under 6 seconds. Driver height is accommodated by adjusting the pedals and the 5 speed manual transmission is from a Mazda Miata. Fly off hand brake, disc brakes, seat belts and the full windshield and heated seats complete the experience. Service can be carried out at any reputable motorcycle service facility and the engine, being American made, and a Harley favorite, can be serviced just about anywhere. The 2014 model year addressed all of the failings of previous years. Chassis cracks and drive train failures for example were designed out of the 2014 and late models. I had not intended ever selling this ultra cool Moggie but stuff happens and I now have to. It is an absolute blast to drive!
