For Sale: 1961 Morgan Roadster in Stratford, Connecticut
57,000 original miles, two owners, LHD but purchased in England by NATO officer, brought to Canada, second owner had the car for 41 years, performed a bare metal respray on a virtually perfect body... Beautiful, show quality black paint (look at the photos which define the term 'laser straight'), light reddish (original color) interior, top and side curtains, engine rebuilt many years ago (and very few miles), our tests: 155-160 psi compression in every cylinder, 50-60 psi oil pressure, zero smoke cold or hot, excellent gearbox, remarkably light and precise steering, wire wheels, very good original chrome, completely rewired, tight front end, excellent dash and creme faced gauges, excellent rust and crack free chassis, excellent wood framework and floors, a genuinely beautiful and incredibly original classic Morgan with disc brakes and a 105 mph performance.
The original creme faced gauges are very clean, same with the creme switches and controls, car was completely rewired, has an original heater, boot cover, and unlike most Morgans, no severe cracks at the top of the front fenders or around the headlights. A super clean Morgan of one of the best years of Morgan production (from 1959 on, disc brakes but only 'till 1962 for the classic creme gauges). And clearly, this car has led a charmed life.
