says "one of a kind", but there just cant be another 1957 Fiat 500
Nuova like this one. This car was the subject of a ground up build
by a meticulas owner who spared no expense in building this Fiat
Performance MONSTER! It even has the aggressive stance of a
Tarantula! TheFiat 500was a city car produced by the Italian
manufacturer Fiatbetween 1957 and 1975. Launched as the Nuova 500
in July 1957,it was a cheap and practical town car. Measuring only
9feet 9inches long, and originally powered by an appropriately
sized 479cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 redefined the
term "city car" and is considered one of the first city cars. The
body has been finished in a Fiat Light Ivory with "carbon fiber"
vinyl striping to break up the solid white. The carbon fiber look
continues on to the hood with the addition of stainless steel vinyl
covering the hood held down by two rubber hood pins. A nice
fitting black original equipped roll back convertible top is in
great condition. To accommodate the larger wheels and tires,
fiberglass fender flares are seamlessly attached. The basic chassis
is all round-section tubed, while the engine/trans hoop is square
section. Construction is well executed, with substantial looking
tubing and a generally well-thought out layout. All the trim and is
present and in good condition along with the both bumpers. Inside,
the pair of black vinyl sport seats with supportive bolstering
replace the original seat. Black door panels and grey carpet
complete the interior fabric. The original dash is complimented
with all Auto-Meter Ultra-lite II backlit gauges, including a
Auto-Meter speedometer mounted in the center of a four spoke
Formuling steering wheel. EMS Stinger Engine Management system,
with laptop programability and Greddy pro-fec b spec II boost
controller. Keeping the engine cool, is an oversized C&R dual
pass radiator with 3000 cfm computer controlled fan. A
professionally built custom 10 point roll cage and set of street
legal wheelie bars, keep everything safe. This 1957 Fiat 500 Nuova
project was completed by a single owner five years ago in Denver
Colorado The car rides on a custom tube chassis with a ten-point
roll cage. The engine is a 2.5 L Subaru EJ25 that has been upgraded
with T3/T4 turbocharger, Bosch 500 injectors, and twin Pierburg
fuel pumps. Running off a Greddy Profec B-spec II boost controller
and an EMS Stinger ECU, the engine produces 300 horsepower to the
wheels. The engine is connected to a Porsche G50 LSD transaxle via
a Kennedy Engineered Products adapter and then is connected to a
pair of Porsche 930 CV joints. Include with this car is an parts
catalog, extensive collection of receipts and documents of this
$14,700 ground up build, and that's just hardware, that doesn't
even include the labor cost and knowledge to build this insane
machine! This Ivory Fiat 500 Nuova is an real attention grabber,
whether it be on the drag strip or to show at events...GET OUT AND
DRIVE! Current mileage on the odometer shows 2,273 it is sold as is
and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear
