This car was the subject of a ground up build by a meticulas owner who spared no expense in building this Fiat Performance MONSTER! It even has the aggressive stance of a Tarantula! The�Fiat 500�was a city car� produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat��between 1957 and 1975. Launched as the Nuova 500 in July 1957,�it was a cheap and practical town car. Measuring only 9�feet 9�inches long, and originally powered by an appropriately sized 479�cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term "city car"� and is considered one of the first city cars. The body has been finished in a Fiat Light Ivory with "carbon fiber" vinyl striping to break up the solid white. The carbon fiber look continues on to the hood with the addition of stainless steel vinyl covering the hood held down by two rubber hood pins. �A nice fitting black original equipped roll back convertible top is in great condition. To accommodate the larger wheels and tires, fiberglass fender flares are seamlessly attached. The basic chassis is all round-section tubed, while the engine/trans hoop is square section. The engine is a 2.5 L Subaru EJ25 that has been upgraded with T3/T4 turbocharger, Bosch 500 injectors, and twin Pierburg fuel pumps. Running off a Greddy Profec B-spec II boost controller and an EMS Stinger ECU, the engine produces 300 horsepower to the wheels.
