Vehicle Description
1940 Dodge D17 Luxury Liner Sedan
It is really refreshing to see any pre-war car that has not been
cut and chopped into an updated streetrod, although this is a
perfect candidate. This all steel 40 Dodge Sedan is an older
restoration that still looks very good and runs great. It is not
100 percent original with the newer interior done in a semi plush
velour, but it is tasteful. The chrome and glass are original and
not bad, the bumpers show some age but nothing serious. The body
panels and undercarriage are solid and all steel. It rolls around
on the painted steel wheels with Dodge logo hubcaps and 205/70R15
radial white walls. We acquired this one from a couple that enjoyed
driving it to car shows and being the only Dodge 4 door there. If
you are looking for a ready to drive pre-war sedan that will give
you years of driving fun, while you can make improvements as you go
along, here is a great value.
