"The much-heralded Ford Model A was the successor to Henry Ford's venerable Model T. It was often referred to as a �Baby Lincoln,' and there was definitely a styling similarity. The 1929 Model A's were characterized by brighter trim and body paint as well as new exterior door handles on open models, such as this phaeton. Attesting to the instant popularity of the new Ford, the two-millionth Model A Ford was built in July 1929. The car had been introduced only 19 months earlier."

For sale by owner is this very nice example of a traditional�'28 Ford 5-Window Coupe street rod.� Please let all the pictures load (there are over 120) to see the great condition of this classic Ford. Our knowledge of this car is somewhat limited as the owner purchased it in 2004 pretty much the way you see it now. It appears to be an older build, with 14.700 miles driven since completion. The body is all Henry Ford original steel with fiberglass fenders. The engine is a mid 70's Chevy 350 mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.
