For Sale: 1971 Ford Bronco in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, FRAME-OFF RESTORED, UNCUT ORIGINAL, 1971 FORD BRONCO CLASSIC...LOW MILEAGE ON ORIGINAL REBUILT 302, UPGRADED POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, HARD TOP AND BIKINI TOP...NEAR FLAWLESS, READY TO SHOW AND GO!!! These Early Ford Broncos have truly carved themselves a hot little niche in the Classic car and truck market. I have now owned over 50 of these 1966-1977 Ford Broncos and have seen the market climb 10-20% a year for the past 5 years. People of all ages seem to admire them and I have become a huge fan as well. Like any classic, the challenge is finding one that has not been abused, rusted out, or restored by amateurs. Well, this amazing 1971 Ford Bronco truly met all of those challenges and then some! Having originally been delivered to the Atlanta District Sales Office territory 21 as indicated on the original ID tag in the glove box, I was told this Sky View beauty spent most, if not all its life in Alabama. It was extremely well cared for and received a professional, frame-off restoration about 3 years ago. It truly looks like the restoration was just completed last week!!! With so many of these Early Broncos being lifted, with cut rear fenders, it is a breath of fresh air when someone keeps them as original as this one. Not to mention that when restored to this level you end up with a Bronco that is an absolute pleasure to drive and is a fantastic investment at the same time. The original 302 V8 was rebuilt at the same time and has under 5000 miles since the rebuild. Part of the nostalgia is shifting this baby using the original 3-speed on the column shifter. One of the few modifications was a great improvement to the braking thanks to a power front disc brake set up that was added. I drove this Bronco about 40 miles this weekend and it truly drove amazing. I cruised down the highway at 65-70 mph effortlessly with just one hand on the steering wheel, waving at folks who were giving me the thumbs up. I brought this sweet Bronco to a huge Sunday morning cruise-in and it drew crowds all morning. The gentleman who bought it after the restoration 3 years ago was quite sad to see it go, but a growing retail business required some additional capital. He kept this baby in a climate controlled garage and only pulled it out on sunny days to go for a drive through the country, an ice cream run with the kids, or to the local shows where it took first place trophies several times. Needing to sell it was a bummer for him, but extremely lucky for the next owner...maybe you!!? I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video of the Bronco running, and an honest description to help you decide if this awesome Bronco is the one you have been searching for. This Bronco is also advertised on my website and several others. So, if you decide this is the one, do not hesitate to call me to discuss how we can get this one in your garage before the next car guy or gal scoops it up.!! Sit back and enjoy! As I mentioned, this uncut '71 Bronco lived a great life in the sunny state of Alabama. As result, it still wears all of its original sheet metal and this baby received a professional, frame-off restoration about 3 years ago bringing it back to its original glory! The body is extremely straight and overall the body is truly near flawless. It was painted in the original Sky View Blue color which looks fantastic. I would characterize the paint job as extremely good and worthy of the local shows and cruise-ins but not over the top trailer queen level. Hey, this is a Ford Bronco and chances are the paint looks as good if not better than it did in 1971 when it was on the showroom floor. All of the chrome trim, bumpers, emblems look outstanding. When I received the Bronco it did not have a roll bar so I had a great 4 point roll bar from Toms Bronco Parts powder coated and installed and we added the bikini top so that it is ready for some sun in your face, wind in your hair fun!! As you will see after these pics we also have the hard. Other than a few very tiny chips I would say the body on this Blue beauty is near flawless. The doors line up very nicely and when you look down the sides of this '71 the lines are great and straight. I think the photo tour of the body below will show you what you want to see! Hopefully the next lucky owner will get to enjoy this awesome Bronco with the hard top off as much as possible. However, if you live somewhere where the hard top is needed you will be happy to know that this one comes with the original hard top that is just as nice as the rest of the truck. Painted in the correct Wimbledon white color with a new head liner. All of the glass is in great shape. I took some pics of it with the hard top on it before we removed it and installed the roll bar. Complimenting the beautiful Sky View Blue exterior is a sweet parchment white original interior that has also been completely restored and looks as good, if not better, than it did in 1971. Front buckets and original rear seat were recovered and are very comfortable showing no wear. These Broncos were true utility vehicles so the interiors had a clean minimalist look to them. The dash looks great with new knobs and a nice bezel around the steering column. A fantastic Retro Sound digital stereo was added in the stock radio hole. It has blue tooth and a wireless mic. I also have the original AM radio that will come with the truck. I added a great looking black carpet kit throughout the floor of the Bronco for a more finished look. The inside floor of this Bronco was lined in a color matched bed liner and looked great but I prefer the clean look of the carpet. Original steering wheel has a vintage vinyl padded wrap around it for comfort. Gauges are very clear and everything appears to be functioning correctly. I did notice the speedometer was jumping around a bit once I was over 70 mph but otherwise seemed to be spot on. Seat belts for both driver and passenger and there is one seat belt installed in the rear and another could be added if desired. Take a look at the interior and you will see just how nice this Bronco is!! Sure this looks Bronco looks phenomenal but how does it drive you might be asking? Well, no disappointments!!! Under the massive hood sits the original 302 V8 that was pulled at the time of restoration and completely rebuilt to stock specs. I just put about 40 miles on this Bronco and it drives as nice, if not nicer than any of the previous 50+ Broncos I have had the pleasure of driving. This motor pulls strong through all 3 gears and sounds great doing it thanks to the Flow Master single exhaust. One of the true benefits of an original, stock, uncut Bronco that has not been lifted is that it drives and handles so nicely. I literally cruised at 70 mph with one hand on the steering wheel with no issues. Steering, while manual, is much more responsive than the power steering some have. My experience is that most of the old Broncos with power steering have quite a bit of play in the steering while the manual steering on this one has none. A great upgrade that was added by the previous owner was the addition of power front disc brakes. This Bronco stops effortlessly and is truly a joy to drive!!! The 3-speed manual on the column is actually a lot of fun and shifts smoothly. 4 wheel drives engages properly. Great set of Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain tires wrapped around original style wheels and hub caps fill the wheel wells nicely and provide a smooth ride. This is definitely a Bronco that you will be able to turn the key and go from the minute it arrives. It is set up to drive and enjoy and runs nice and cool. Someone is going to be extremely satisfied when this one arrives to their driveway!!! The undercarriage is equally as impressive as the top side of this Bronco. Floorpans are about as nice as I have seen and the entire undercarriage has been very nicely detailed and is worthy of placing mirrors under it
