For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1964 Chevrolet El Camino. Chevrolet intruduced the El Camino first in 1959 as a result of a suggestion from automotive great Harley Earl. The "Coupe Utility" was based off of the Brookwood two door station wagon, and offered a full sized pickup bed in a highly styled, low slung sedan body. The vehicle was an immediate success, outselling it's Ford competitor the Ranchero nearly 2 to 1. The second generation starting in '64 based the vehicle off of the Chevelle chassis and boasted a 327 small block and an awesome 3 speed on the column. Everything on this particular El Camino is completely original down to the AM radio. this car had some upgraded options like Power Brakes and Power Steering. Its sports a really clean black vinyl interior that is timeless as any 60's Chevy car.
