The 1985 C10 model of truck falls into a group known as the square
bodys and these pickups, especially in recent years, have become
extremely popular. The generation that grew up seeing these trucks
around is now able to go out and purchase the classic they always
wanted and clubs are popping up all over the place dedicated to
this type vintage of truck alone. The body is very straight and
coated in a nice Black paint. The 4 inch cowl hood and tailgate are
accented by very cool Red metal flake stripes which feature very
light airbrushed ghost flames. The front bumper is painted to match
and the rear bumper has been removed and replaced with a custom
roll pan that utilizes Chevy bowtie taillights and a grill behind
the license plate. An after market chrome grill was also added up
front and hides the headlights which completely changes up the
look. The truck has a great stance and sits on a set of 15 inch
Centerline Convo Pro wheels with 31x18x15 rear Mickey Thompson
tires.
All that rubber isn't just for appearance because this pickup now
has a Speedway Blueprint 496 big block motor that has no problem
getting those tires spinning. The engine runs very well and has
been dressed up nicely to be show ready. Gloss Black 572 valve
covers combined with multiple billet and chrome parts have it
looking just as good as it drives. It has been built up with dual
four barrel Edelbrock carbs, Hooker Supercomp ceramic coated
headers, 496 roller aluminum heads and a roller cam which all bring
it to around 590 horsepower. The turbo 350 transmission (3500
stall) works well with the engine and sends power back to the 10
bolt 3.73 positraction rear end. To help make room for those tires
the rear was tubbed and an aftermarket back half kit was added.
Other nice features include the 4 wheel power disk brakes, power
steering, and electric windows.
Take a look on the inside and you will find the custom Red and
Black upholstered bench seat. The headliner is done in Red to match
and the door panels also feature Red accents. Aluminum bezels and
trim now line the dash which features a lot of the original
controls and aftermarket Black Autometer gauges. Other nice
customizations include the Grant GT steering wheel and all billet
levers on the tilt steering column. The bed is coated in a Black
liner and is where you will find the Optima batter in battery box,
fuel cell and a kill switch.
This is an extremely cool pickup that is really fun to drive so if
your in the market for a vintage truck with a lot of style it may
be the one for you!
Put it in your garage for $47,250.00!
