1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collectors Edition in Collierville, Tennessee

This 1982 Collector Edition Corvette still has a hint of new car smell, and the eyes confirm what the nose knows. The 1982 Corvette was the last of a generation which dated its basic body structure to 1968 and its chassis to 1963. To honor the special status, Chevrolet offered a "Collector Edition," which came standard with many optional features. This included lifting rear hatchback glass, a Corvette first, and exclusive to the Collector Edition. It also had special wheels styled to resemble 1967's "bolt on" optional wheels, unique silver-beige paint, silver-beige leather interior, and special cloisonne emblems.
