THE LOWEST MILEAGE, MOST WELL PRESERVED, ALL ORIGINAL EXAMPLE AVAILABLE ANYWHERE
An astonishing find, this 51 year old undamaged automobile was supplied in 1964 and resold through the area service facility in 1969 with approximately 3,000 miles traveled to its second owners who used it only sparingly for the next 45 years. The most recent registration is dated 7/31/80.
The original Shell Grey lacquer finish is intact and the original VM3244 Blue Grey Connolly hides and wood veneer finishes are in remarkable condition. There was the expected decay to the original wool headliner and carpets which had suffered moth damage. They have been replaced with correct original type materials. The mechanical aspects have been thoroughly recommissioned by our facility and, in the interests of safety, fresh wheel rims and new tires have been mounted. The ride quality and performance are delightful. There is no rust damage to the body structure. The original tires and rims are with the automobile for display and historical purposes. The tools are complete and the original wooden box containing a pint of touchup lacquer remains in the trunk, still nailed closed! The handbook is in well preserved condition.
There are some minor defects to the paint but out of respect for the originality of the automobile, the temptation to remedy them has been resisted.
