The 308 GTS QV offered here was ordered new by a prominent developer from Mexico. The car was imported to the US arriving in Houston, TX. From there it was sold in 1991 to a Houston, TX resident who also had a home in Laguna Beach, California. The car would go on to be with that same owner for 24 years. Throughout its life this 308 received great care, maintenance and servicing with three recorded majors services on file. The last major service was performed in 2008 and by 2010 the car was stored and off the road for the next five years. Today the car remains a very original and low mileage example but will need to be serviced prior to road use due to long term static storage, the car does start and we have driven it around our lot but there is a ticking sound coming from the engine which should be addressed we assume that at the time of its next service it will need a valve guide service as well we think this is the source of the ticking. Due to our shop being very backed up with other projects, we are selling the car as-is where-is for an appropriate and attractive price, it is certainly an example worthy of serious attention from any enthusiast or collector.
