MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this extremely rare and extremely low mileage 1997 Bentley Continental T coupe by Mulliner Park Ward . This extremely rare 1 of 322 cars produced over a six year production plan comes with the desirable elegant white on two tone tan combination, shows extremely well with only 9,315 miles, quite possibly the lowest mileage '97 T to exist! Motor Trend magazine proclaimed the Continental T to be "the baddest luxury car ever created".
The Bentley Continental T was the pinnacle of the Continental series with a heavy emphasis on sporty characteristics while still maintaining a high degree of luxury, though luxury did take a back seat to performance. With a shortened wheelbase, 2+2 configuration, and extended wheel arches, the Continental T looked very aggressive and undeniably sporty. The customer had the opportunity to specify components such as opting for the modified shock absorbers and stiffer torsion bars.
Finished in a rich "Cotillion" white, this coupe shows extremely well and presents itself nearly as new! All the trim is present, complete and displays brilliantly. The front and rear bumpers fit is extremely tight and finish is exquisite. The weather-stripping over the entire automobile is in excellent condition. The car has a slight window tinting that compliments and completes the "sport" appearance. The original 18 inch chrome Bentley wheels represent well with only slight signs of marring.
Inside, the rich two tone saddle and oatmeal tan leather front bucket seats and rear seats appear with only very slight wear spots on the drivers seat's outside bolster visible. The matching tan door panels, carpet and engine-turned dashboard are a continuation of the striking white exterior of the car and look fantastic. Wilton wool carpeting and lambs wool rugs; straight grained mahogany inlays on the doors and console. Chrome finish instrumentation are ergonomically place have correct appearance and function as originally designed, including a and a push-button starter. The originally equipped leather steering is in excellent condition and functions as designed. The heater and air conditioning function as designed, power heated front seats with lumbar support, a standard Motorola telephone, power windows and original equipment AM/FM Cassette stereo. Included is the original service book, roadside assistance booklet, operation manual and owners manual.
This nicely presented Bentley comes equipped with a 426hp/ 590 lbs of torque 6.8 liter V-8 with exhaust-driven turbocharger and liquid intercooler rated 426 horsepower at 4,000 rpm mated to a four speed hydromatic automatic transmission, independent suspension front and rear with adaptive ride control; larger ventilated disc brakes front, discs rear and anti locking braking system.
Current mileage on the odometer shows 9,315 which is understood to be actual. It is sold as is on a clean & clear mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
