With so many 914s being lost over the years, it's great to find one in such pristine shape, while retaining it's original drive and color combination.
Bought new by a female Porsche enthusiast in Northern California, the car was sold to a local Sheriff. Extensive records accompany the car. The third owner undertook an extensive mechanical restoration. The engine and transmission (including new clutch) were rebuilt by Ross Cohens of Cohens Auto in Hollister, CA. At the same time, suspension, brakes and running gear wear items were refreshed. New linkage installed, pedal springs.
Exterior of the car is very clean, though some blemishes in paint can be seen. Rubber wears a nice natural black - doesn't need to be treated. Panel fit is factory. No evidence whatsoever of crash repair. Car is absolutely rust free.
Always garaged. Does not leak. Complete with original Fuchs in boxes, spare, jack and original books.
