Offered here is a remarkable, original and stock 1953 Ford Customline Sedan. This California black plate car is single family owned vehicle since new in Southern California. The current owner discovered the vehicle recently at an estate sale in Ventura CA. The odometer reads 54,334 original miles.

Powered by a stock Ford flathead motor, matched to a manual transmission with overdrive, the vehicle performs flawlessly. The car has a new battery installed with new cables. A rebuilt carb, new wheel cylinders, and new shocks. Plus a rebuilt starter and solenoid.

I am advised the car had a professional prior repaint which was performed sometime in the past. All windows were removed as well as all the rubber. The door jambs, interior hood and trunk areas plus the firewall were restored properly. It is very difficult to see that the car does not remain in it's original finish. It is that nice. All new rubber was then replaced.

The interior upholstery has been restored with the original factory dash finish remaining in unbelievable original condition. All gauges are clear and bright including the clock. Headliner, carpets and door panels are wonderful. The brake and gas rubbers show very little wear. This Ford is a true and solid California survivor.
