Cheatham of Gas Monkey Garage build Featured in the season finale

Tribute Custom molded tank and seat Restoration of well preserved
stored example MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this
handsome and rarely seen 1979 Harley Davidson Sportster XR flat
track tribute motorcycle, a true classic American enthusiast's bike
that has inspired by Evil Knevel's XR750! This motorcycle was a
recent participant in a inner company three bike "build off" for
charity. The company is Gas Monkey Garage, the builder of this
Harley is Jeremy Cheatham, one of the talented mechanics at the
garage. The winner of the competition will be determined by which
builder's bike brings the most money at auction...and will air in
an upcoming season finale episode of Fast N Loud. TheSportsteris
a line of motorcycles produced continuously since 1957 by the
Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Our Sportster was in need of some
transmission and carburetor work that was made apparent by Jeremy
of Gas Monkey Garage when the episode aired. It was pretty clear he
was in over his head, so they sold the bike with some needs. Our
(20 year veteran) technician pulled the clutch basket and clutch
pack and replaced the neutral locking pin. For good measure, he
rebuilt the carburetor, adjusted the clutch and the throttle cable.
This Harley is now running and shifting the way was it meant to
from day one!...We don't monkey around! Finished in a dramatic deep
red the custom molded gas tank shows extremely well with only minor
imperfections visible upon close inspection. Both the front and
rear fenders have been removed to help execute the flat track look.
All the frame pieces have nicely integrated contrasting black
finish and fit nicely and compliment the red custom molded tank.
Chrome pieces show extremely well for a sixty era bike. The black
seat is custom and molded to work in harmony with the fuel tank.
subtle with enough room for one to ride comfortably...two not so
much The seat looks great with no major signs of wear
visible..Paint and frame are exceptional with no visible evidence
of repair or damage that we could find. This recently re-built
Harley featuring a 1000cc V-twin "Shovelhead" engine has be ridden
sparingly on the brand new tires on the cafe racer style wheels.
The bike's mechanicals have been sorted with a new ignition,
battery, rebuilt carburetor, handle bars and controls This
extremely good looking and well equipped XR tribute bike will
delight even the most discerning American motorcycle collector or
enthusiast. This XR Harley is one of three bikes competing in this
contest, and your chance to actual own a featured subject on a
successful TV series and possibly the potential winner! GET OUT
AND DRIVE!!!...er, RIDE!!! Since it is a race bike, current mileage
is N/A, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The motorcycle is
