Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we enter our 17th year in the
classic and muscle car business. We are thrilled to offer this
stunning automobile, a 1966 Ford CAV GT40. This beauty features a
true monocoque chassis with an early German ZF transmission and
tall-deck 351 block with a 4.170 in. stroker crankshaft creating
the 600 est hp 427ci motor to match the 7 liter displacement of the
original race cars. This engine was built by PI Motorsports, Inc.
and contains the following: 351 Windsor block with 9.5" deck, steel
H-beam rods, Ross forged pistons (10.5:1), moly rings, steel
dampener, 10 qt. oil pan, ARP head studs, Schneider hydraulic
roller camshaft, roller rockers, roller timing chain, Manley
pushrods, Stage II polished alloy heads, stainless steel valves,
110 gpm fuel pumps, and a Holley 850 double pumper sitting on an
Edelbrock Victor intake manifold. This car is unique in many ways.
It is signed by Edsel Ford II, the President of Ford Motor Company,
and Mario Andretti. Mr. Ford was so enamored with the car that he
included it in the Ford SEMA display twice. The owner of the car at
that time said Mr. Ford was very interested in the air-conditioning
system. Here is a link that you can copy and paste to see the video
that Playboy did on the car
