Vehicle Description
1928 Ford Model A Phaeton. This is a very rare car with the emergency brake on the left of the driver and with the red steering wheel. The car is original, restored in 1960 having won a Senior First National award in 1961. The 4 cylinder engine is original and 3-speed manual transmission are original. The car is black and Niagara Blue. This is an original older restoration of a very orginal and complete car. I have recently had the following work done professionaly by an accredited vintage auto restoration company: a new convertible roof installed, new tires, new brake shoes, had the radiator removed - disassembled - rodded out and rebuilt, new fan blade, new king pin bushings, new battery and had the cluth pressure plate readjusted and the cowl removed to clean and seal the gas tank. The car runs on a 6volt system with a 6volt alternator for daily driving. The interior is correct and in excellent condition. Mechanically, everything is in good working order and is a dependable car, fun to driver.
