1986 Chevrolet El Camino Fifth generation (1978-1987) The 1978
through 1987 El Camino's were produced in four trim levels:
Classic, Black Knight (1978)/Royal Knight (1979-83), Conquista and
Super Sport, and shared chassis components with the Chevrolet
Malibu. Chevrolet 90� V6 and Buick V6 engines were used for the
first time. The optional 305 cubic-inch small block V8 was rated at
150 or 165 horsepower, and from 1982-1984, the Oldsmobile-sourced
Diesel engine was also optional. Presented here, this 1986 El
Camino Classic shows its originality throughout. Starting with Code
17 Black paint with silver rocker accent with red pinstripe looks
great and is in pristine condition. Still with original Code LG4
V8-305 OHV engine with single 4bbl carburetor and original
THM700CR4-4 speed transmission. The gray plush cloth interior
features great unworn unstained carpeting and 40/60 seating, AC,
AM/FM cassette stereo, power locks, power windows. Original kidney
bean slot steel wheels with center cap finish the exterior style.
The odometer displays what is believed to be original 58564 miles.
