This 1963 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, is a real show
stopper finished in beautiful Frost Red with a great condition
white top and a red/white leather interior. This classic Cadillac
is ready to show or cruise! With tasteful style refinements for
1963, Cadillac finally found a great balance from the eccentric
designs and high fins of the late 50's and produced an iconic car
that is sure to be a classic forever. These beautiful cars are
starting to gain value once again, are highly sought after because
of their iconic presence and with only 1,825 ever built, they are
sure to retain and grow their value. Please contact me and I will
be happy to give you any further information and a more detailed
description.
This Beautiful Cadillac underwent a major restoration and was
completed in 2005. The original 390 V8 has been rebuilt to
manufacturers standards while the transmission was replaced with a
more reliable late 60’s Turbo Hydra-Matic 4 speed Automatic. The
car runs excellent and the temperature gauge never reads past 1/4
even on hot days. The carburetor has been upgraded to an Edelbrock
4 barrel and although the original air cleaner is not currently
installed, it will be included in the sale. The generator system
has been rebuilt and works excellent.
In 1963 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertibles were built with
many Power Options and this beauty has them all: Steering, brakes
(front upgraded to discs), air conditioning (compressor not
installed), 6-way power seats, all windows including the vent
windows, trunk, antennae, and convertible top. It even has the dash
mounted Autronic Eye that always starts a great conversation about
its history and advanced technology for its time. The top goes up
and down without any issues and the cylinders and pump are in
excellent condition.
The car stereo system is headed by a Custom Autosound radio that
looks exactly like the original. Front component and tweeter
speakers are mounted in the kick-panel area and under the dash. In
the trunk there is a 6 CD Changer capable of playing MP3 CD’s; two
12” speakers housed in a speaker box; two separate amplifiers
delivering the mega sound that you need in an open car; and there
is still room for the spare tire, jack and luggage.
The car is impressive and great to drive, but after 10 years the
paint has some nicks and scratches. The interior is in good
condition but could use some minor refreshing. The car since
restored has been driven less than 10,000 miles and for this reason
it is time to let someone else that has more time and interest
enjoy the car. I own 60’s muscle cars and those see more driving
time than this beautiful Cadillac. Buy this beautiful car today and
be ready for Summer fun driving and shows.
