It shows as very original throughout, and with 115,973 actual miles, has never required a full restoration. Instead, it has been lovingly cared for and maintained as needed through the years. The paint appears to have been resprayed in the 1990s, a trim-off job that is done to a high level that is still holding up well. The interior and trim are highly original with the noted exception of a more modern radio added and aftermarket speakers added in the rear passenger area. These additions are in custom fitted boxes that look like they could be removed with relative ease should one so choose.Under the hood is the factory correct Z Code 390ci "Marauder Super" V8, an optional engine for the year with 10.8:1 compression 4bbl carburetor, hydraulic lifters, and dual exhaust, factory rated at 300hp/427 lb-ft torque. It is mated to the Merc-o-Matic multidrive automatic transmission, and the car features other such luxury features as factory Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power operated soft top, seat belts, and AM push-button radio. The car rolls on a desirable vintage set of polished American Racing wheels with radial tires.Included with the car is the original owner's manual, the manuals for the updated radio, a complete inspection from our Service Center and the associated invoice for servicing it received, which included a recharge of the Air Conditioning system, tune up, and other minor routine maintenance items. The car is extremely enjoyable to drive and makes for a great collectible cruiser.
