This 1956 Chevrolet Nomad is the middle of the iconic Tri-5 group. This rust free, impeccably restored classic has been updated with all the right stuff. Finished in original look turquoise and ivory exterior and complementary color interior in cloth and ultra leather. Paint, chrome, stainless bright trim, glass, interior are all excellent in design, finish and quality. Fit and finish of doors, hood and rear gate is great. The new in 2003 350ci crate motor supplies more than enough power to the 700R4 transmission and to the Currie rear end. The engine and under hood area is finished in bright aluminum and chrome. Edelbrock components are featured. A Hi-torque starter makes starting dependable and effortless.
With disc brakes on all four corners, stopping is dependable, smooth and straight. The near new Achilles tires mounted on Coys wheels make just the right stance with 225/40R-18 in front and 255/85ZR20 in rear.
The comfortable seats, finished in cloth and ultra leather, installed in a unique flowing design is in good condition, free of wear, tears, or stains. The chrome tilt steering column and Lecarra wheel, modern dash gauges, billet door handles and knobs, headliner material and chrome bows, dash and window bright trim is flawless.
All glass is flawless and appears to be nearly new. All window and door rubber is in excellent condition.
