1953 Mercury Monterey

Exterior
Repainted two tone blue paint presents well with only a few chips and a couple minor dents in the body. Drivers side door does show a small amount of touched up paint. Chrome and trim shows only minor pitting in a few places but no rust or cracks found.
Interior
Reupholstered interior is in good condition. Rear seat shows some minor staining but otherwise no tears or damage found. Headliner is in great shape, interior trim is complete but does show some pitting and age. Gauge housing is original and shows age and use.
Mechanical
Engine starts easily and idles well. Carburetor was recently replaced and seems like it could use some additional adjustment, car will slightly stutter under acceleration but has no problems maintaining speed. Steering has a bit of play but car is easy to drive. No surprises from brakes or suspension. Car is equipped with overdrive but is not currently working. Engine was rebuilt approximately 10 years ago and has only about 4,000 miles on it since.
