The Plymouth Prowler has been turning heads since it debuted as a concept car in 1993, and this 1999 Prowler has turned heads since it arrived! The shape of the windshield, the body proportions and the rear fenders all add up to one of the finest styling exercises to come out of Detroit! The chrome wheels are absolutely gorgeous and in new condition. The twin halogen tractor beams headlights fit beautifully and are scratch free. But the detail and precision of the dual colored pin striping is inspiring. Have a look at the photos, they are amazing! The interior of this car is nothing but stunning. Custom crafted and highly polished Rosewood trim is found throughout the car. It is rich and striking against the black leather interior. The seats form to your body as it did when new. Under the hood you'll find some surprises! It has a accents of chrome and a custom air brushed miniature mural of the car! This model has the second generation Chrysler 3.5L SOHC 24 valve V-6 that puts out 253 hp at 6,400 rpm and 255 lb-ft of torque at 3,950 rpm. It also has Borla Cat-Back exhaust system made of aircraft quality stainless steel, and the pipes have the Prowler Cat embossed on the highly polished 4-1/2 tips. This car has some significant engineering too. The front independent suspension is aluminum double wishbone Indy Car style with inboard high performance shocks. The rear is a lower wishbone with upper lateral links with coil springs over shocks. This is really trick stuff. The frame is a box rail extruded from 6061 and 6063 aluminum alloys in T6 temper. It has a four speed automatic transaxle for near 50/50 weight distribution and the body is made from aluminum alloys and injected molded urethanes. The brakes are four-wheel ventilated discs with composite rear rotors. Even the magnesium instrument panel serves as a structural cross member. It also stops traffic and people wherever it goes! This car could be put on a pedestal at the New York Museum of Modern Art, but what a waste that would be. It belongs in the garage of someone who's as excited as we are to offer it!
