MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer yet another timeless Buick, this time in the form of this stellar 1941 Buick 40 Sedanette. This Buick is in excellent overall condition and very correct. This Sedanette was purchased new and spent the majority of its early life in beautiful and dry California, a fact that is obvious when looking at the body and structural components of this car.
Finished in deep glossy black, the car boasts a well kept older restoration and still presents itself very well today. Throughout the exterior of the car you'll find tastefully hand painted red accents (a wonderful contrast to the black). The paint on the car looks very good with only a few minor imperfections and signs of age. The body is solid with curvy lines that war cars are known for, chrome front and rear bumpers have an excellent fit and are in great condition. The front grill (with hand painted red inserts) and bright work on the car is in great condition with a brilliant shine, weather-stripping is still very pliable with no obvious tearing or shrinkage. There is an optional exterior sun visor installed above the windshield that with the rear fender skirts carries the theme all the way back to the rare collision light in the center of the trunk!
Inside, the car presents beautifully with a highly original look and feel. The lush saddle tan cloth seats are an excellent contrast to the shiny exterior that has withstood the test of time and it looks great! The door panels, headliner and seats are all finished in the same period correct tan cloth which is in great condition. The same holds true for the rear seats, almost as if they haven't been sat in. The carpet is in great condition as well. The crack free dashboard is finished in a “wood” like veneer and looks great with no cracking or buckling. The dash houses a set of original equipped gauges are in excellent condition and working order as well as an AM radio. Note: Windshield wipers are currently inoperable
Under the hood, you’ll find a beautiful red finished 248 cid Fireball straight 8 engine with rare factory dual carburetors intake setup, mated to a 3-speed column shifted manual transmission. Optional window mounted Firestone evaporative air conditioning cooler, also known as a "swamp cooler", original equipment 16 inch black paint steel (with red pin stripes) wheels on wide whitewall Coker Classic tires. This example is also equipped with great details like, dual exhaust, amber front fog lights, optional front highway passing light, polished eyelids for the headlights, even custom flag holders (complete with flags!) for the front bumper.
You have a rare opportunity to be the first kid in your neighborhood under a 100 to drive a Buick that's not metallic beige!...GET OUT AND DRIVE!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 56,877, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.
