1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Opera Coupe. The Opera Coupe has the fold down jump seats and opening back windows unlike the Business Coupe.
I am the third owner and this car has never been outside of Lake Wales Florida until now.
All steel and all original.
I have the original Sales Contract, owner’s manual and all vehicle registrations from new until 1955. The wife retitled the car in her name 03/14/1958. I believe the wife didn’t drive or register her husband’s car until 1962-1964 (I have these registrations). I believe that it has been stored since 1966 and has less than 60,000 original miles. It has and oil change sticker on the inside driver’s door jamb that says to change the oil at xx,xxx miles dated 1966 and it hasn’t even reached that yet! The second owner bought the car in March of 1969 after it passed a Florida Department of Public Safety Vehicle Safety Inspection. He planned to restore it but didn’t. He applied for a title in July of 1996, twenty seven years later.
The beauty of this car is that it runs perfectly and can be driven to events while you restore it.
