This 2012 GT-R, a worthy successor to Nissan's much-lauded R34 'Godzilla', is a highly polished and professionally tuned track beast that's traveled a mere 10,291 miles. And if you're an empowered enthusiast who's looking for an all-wheel drive, twin-turbo thrill ride, it's your chance to become 'King of the Monsters'!

BODY

The R35 GT-R follows a long line of classic Nissan designs including its direct predecessor, the beloved R34. Although the car was founded on the 3-box Skyline sedan, this generation was split in to a unique model that focused solely on world-beating performance. Not only did that shift result in an over all better platform, it created a much more aggressive profile that christened the halo with awesome looks worthy of its incredible ability. At the front of that profile, a drag-reduced grille centers a red-trimmed "GTR" badge between LED parking lamps, a small chin spoiler and HID headlights that are reminiscent of Nissan's Fairlady Z. Behind that grille, a scooped hood leads the eye to like-new glass, which reflects color-keyed mirrors. Beneath that glass, a fast fuselage anchors smoked marker lamps, raked, "GTR" branded heat extractors and brightly trimmed door handles on an ever-widening track. At the back of that fuselage, LED taillights illuminate a large wing, a fourth "GTR" badge and an aggressive diffuser that houses large exhaust outlets. And that entire outfit wears a custom combination of red and black 2-stage that manages to be both cutting edge and classy.

DRIVETRAIN

Tilt the car's aluminum hood and you'll find a hand-built, highly desirable VR38DETT 6-cylinder that's been professionally tuned and fitted with high performance aftermarket air boxes. At 3.8 liters that sporty, dual overhead cam mill props 24-valve heads on top of an aluminum block that's fitted with plasma-sprayed cylinder bores. And from there, a pressurized lubrication system combines with variable valve timing and two parallel Ishikawajima-Harima turbochargers to produce 542 horsepower and 451 lb./ft. of pavement-scorching torque. That engine rolls on a lightweight, jig-welded chassis, which mates aluminum subframes with hollow stabilizers and a carbon composite strut bar. That chassis rides a 4-wheel independent suspension that's fitted with Bilstein's adjustable Damptronic technology. Inside that suspension, a hand-built, 6-speed Borg Warner dual clutch semi-automatic transmission sends power through a carbon composite driveshaft to a mechanically locking differential. That differential powers ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive that's aided by Nissan's Vehicle Dynamics Control stability system. Speed sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering orchestrates an unmatched driving experience with the help of standard ABS, drilled rotors and massive Brembo calipers. There's $7K worth of HKS exhaust that no doubt aids the car's performance. And at the corners, $10K in Rohana wheels twist 255/40ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports in front of 295/35ZR20 Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

INTERIOR

Inside this slick Nissan it's all about a symbiotic relationship between world-class performance and cutting edge technology. At the center of the car, heated and leather-lined seats, which provide power adjustment for the driver, show hardly any wear at all. At the front of those seats, a stylish, French-stitched dash hangs chunky telemetry beside a crisp Bose sound system that's complete with navigation, Bluetooth and MP3 capability. At the base of that dash, like-new carpet, which is protected by thick, "GTR" branded floor mats, anchors a full-length console and carbon-trimmed shifter between metal-trimmed foot pedals and attractive "GTR" sills. In front of the driver, a leather-wrapped steering wheel spins standard cruise control and redundant audio buttons around small paddle shifters. And, throughout the inviting cockpit, you'll find the usual assortment of luxury and convenience features that we've all come to expect in high-end automobiles.

PROVENANCE

The car's Owner's Manual and factory literature

A Nissan touch-up pen

Two key fobs

An AccessPort hand-held tuner

The R35 missed nothing on its way to becoming one of the world's premier performance cars. It has a track-ready, all-wheel drive powertrain, a turbocharged, performance-proven motor and more luxury features than some people's houses. Want to have some fun in a pristine, low-mileage track monster? Storm the scene in this incredible GT-R!
