1941 Chrysler Business Coupe. Needs restoration, but has an interesting pedigree.
The car was purchased at an auction in 1984 from the well known Mopar collectors Bruce and Norma Osborne. It appeared in movies such as From Here to Eternity, Gibbsville, Sophisticated Gents, and New York, New York and was apparently driven by celebrities like Humphrey Bogart, Liza Minelli, Harrison Ford and Robert De Niro.
This car was in the southwest U.S. until last year. Now rust is creeping in due to outside storage. We assume that the odometer reading of less than 25.000 miles is correct. The engine and driveline appear to be all original but recent bodywork, paint and upholstery were done. The motor was briefly run a few years ago. It needs hardware like headlights, bumpers and dashboard, brakes and probably other things.
we are asking $12 K.
