This Healey is a Sebring MX model from Classic Roadster Ltd, a company known for the finest example of this V-8 powered version of the great Austin Healey 3000 design.
Finished in a dramatic deep blue metallic paint, this professionally finished and handsome MX shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Included with the car are a series of photos showing the painting process. Both the front and rear bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body. This high-performance wide body Healey re-creation features a full tube chassis, rack & pinion front steering. Also, note the smooth fenders. Most of these replicas have visible bonding strips on the tops of the fenders where the fiberglass pieces are joined. Extra care and attention was put into the fit and finish of this car to eliminate these strips.
Inside, the recently upholstered grey and blue front bucket seats with Sparco race harness, and rear cargo compartment and all look great with no major signs of wear visible. The recently upholstered door panels with roll up windows compliment the rest of the interior, as does the dash which is padded and upholstered to match the rest of the interior shows beautifully. A host of CRL gauges are well positioned in the wood dash panel, interior also features a wooden Grant steering wheel, heater, Kidde fire extinguisher, T handle shifter and more.
This nicely built Healey features a smooth running Chevy 350 cid V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission fed by a well tuned Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor sitting on a polished intake manifold, and breathes through custom dual exhaust complete with performance headers chrome exit tips. American Racing 5 spoke alloys, wrapped in Cooper tires create a serious look and provide ample grip for the power brakes. Blue anodized Moroso valve covers and matching air cleaner and flip up gas cap finish up the details.
This extremely good looking, meticulously kept and well equipped roadster will delight even the most discerning early sports car collector or enthusiast. Included with this Cobra Eater is a Classic Roadster Ltd. introduction and assembly manual, sales brochures, original photos showing the painting process, service receipts and correspondence between Classic Roadsters and the original owner during the build.
Reliable enough for a daily driver, weekend get away, or track day toy, this is a rare opportunity to own the superb combination of classic British design and American muscle, GET OUT AND DRIVE!!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 18,370, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & Missouri clear title.
