Production of the MGB began in October 1962 just after the
production of the MGA had ceased. Though often referred to as a
roadster, the MGB had roll up windows, outside door handles and
vent wings. A Mark II version was added in 1967, and the car stayed
in production until 1980, becoming one of the most successful
British sports cars of all time, with a total of over 300,000 cars
being exported to the U.S. alone. The classic MGB's continued the
stronghold that MG had over the market of small roadsters than
began post World War II. With great styling and handling (featuring
a better suspension than MGA's) the MGB continued to gain
popularity in the United States. 1975 marked the 50th anniversary
for MG.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this driver ready example of
the 1975 MG-B for your consideration. This model has been owned by
its current owner for the past decade and with the mechanical end
as well as a fresh paint added to it prior, there wasn't much else
left for them to do but enjoy! They were able to add fresh tires to
this as well as a new interior carpet to freshen up the inside
since ownership. The outside looks great with the rubber bumpers in
good shape, the paint is a beautiful white pearl color and has a
black vinyl top just in case the weather decides to change for the
worst. The interior is of driver quality and includes a smooth
shifting 4-speed manual mated to the proper engine, the 1789cc I4
which is in good running order as well. This vehicle has received a
professional detail prior to offering it up for sale and is ready
for its next owner to enjoy. A perfect candidate for those who
enjoy a fun cruiser with a drop top, call or email us today for
more information on this good looking and running example!
