Triumph is one of the most iconic British sports cars in history, with very little design changes throughout it’s history. One of a selected few cars that has retained essential design and engineering philosophy while setting new standards of performance and esthetics in the process. This rare TR6 was refinished in a rich glossy Carmine Red in 2008, both paint and body are in fantastic condition showing only minor imperfections. Inside the Black vinyl seats compliment the recently painted exterior and look fantastic. The door panels are designed to match the rest of the interior and carry the theme all the way to the exterior. The newer carpet rounds out the details. The horn is inoperable. The Triumph TR6 was introduced in 1969 as a replacement for the TR5/TR250. The TR6 featured similar running gear components and chassis as its predecessor but incorporated new external styling. The updated styling, courtesy of Karmann of Germany, allowed for more cargo capacity in the rear of the vehicle when compared with previous models. The doors and the center section remained unchanged from the TR4 and TR5 models. The interior comfort and drivability of the TR6 made it a highly successful British sports car. It was similar to the TR4 and TR5, in mid-1976, production of the TR6 ceased.         . This TR6 is fitted with a 104 hp 2.5L six-cylinder, inline engine, a synchromesh four-speed gearbox, semi trailing arm independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, from air dam, bumper guards, pile carpets, full bank of gauges and walnut veneer dash, and this sporty TR-6 is rolling on  Factory 15 inch wheels wrapped in Radial tires.
