Vehicle Description
1974 Vega Pro Street
The Vegas may have originally been released as a subcompact Chevy
with a 4 cylinder but this one is sure to change what you picture
when someone mentions a Vega. This 74 2 door hatch back has been
built up to spin tires and turn heads wherever it goes. It is
painted in a PPG Dark and Dramatic Plum Purple paint that has a
nice finish. It was then accented with custom pinstriping by Frank
Palmer with engine turned style paint work going down the sides.
The hot wheels graphics was added because with its small stance,
big tires, and big motor sticking out of the hood it reflects the
style of a lot of the blown hot wheels cars. A fiberglass hood is
in place with Dzus turnlock fasteners for easy removal. The car has
an incredible sound through custom built 2" ceramic coated headers
into Flowmaster mufflers and the drivetrain was very well built.
